We believe schema therapy is something you learn by doing, not just by reading about it. Our training is highly experiential, with live demonstrations, role plays, experiential exercises and plenty of opportunities to practise and receive feedback in a supportive environment.

As trainers, we bring warmth, energy and a genuine passion for schema therapy. We strive to create a learning experience that is engaging, inspiring and enjoyable, where participants feel encouraged to step outside their comfort zone, develop their skills and grow in confidence alongside their peers.

Delivered live online via Zoom, the programme consists of seven training days across three modules and provides a comprehensive introduction to the schema therapy model and its application with a range of complex clinical presentations. Participants can complete the full programme with the same cohort or attend modules individually.

Module 1 (3 days): Foundations of Schema Therapy
Learn the theory and practice of schema therapy, including core concepts, case conceptualisation, and key experiential techniques such as imagery rescripting and chair work with critic and coping modes.

Module 2 (3 days): Working with Complex Presentations
Develop your skills in applying schema therapy with complex presentations, including borderline and narcissistic personality difficulties, while deepening your competence and confidence in experiential work.

Module 3 (1 day): Working with Cluster C Presentations
Focus on avoidant, dependent and obsessive-compulsive personality difficulties, alongside strategies for strengthening and developing the Healthy Adult mode.

Our training is highly practical, combining theory, demonstrations, experiential exercises and skills practice to help you integrate schema therapy into your clinical work from day one.
