Supervision

Individual Supervision – £ dependent on supervisor

If you would like to join our certification programme, we will connect you with a supervisor suited to your area of work. Supervision is a space to continue developing your skills to prepare you for accreditation. This involves discussing your schema therapy work, sharing videos of sessions, role playing techniques and exploring the schemas that are activated in you whilst offering therapy.

You will need a minimum of 20 hours of supervision for standard certification and 40 hours for advanced certification. Three (for standard) or six (for advanced) of these hours can be used to explore your own schema activation in your work.

Supervision Groups - £70 per 2-hour group via zoom

Attending a supervision group is an excellent way to develop your understanding and skills in schema therapy as you can learn from the work of others as well as receiving supervision on your own work.

Supervision groups have space for 5 trainee schema therapists and run for two hours every month. There is opportunity to share your schema therapy work, listen to the work of others and develop schema skills by practicing techniques such as chair work with a coping mode, imagery rescripting or mode mapping.

Attending group supervision contributes towards your supervision hours for certification.
